We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Accounts Assistant to join an established business based in Tamworth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily operations, and ensuring smooth month‑end processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and process sales invoices and credit notes
* Carry out credit control & chasing outstanding payments
* Follow up on missing purchase orders
* Maintain sales ledger filing
* Complete the weekly payroll process
* Print and organise purchase invoices
* Match delivery notes and purchase orders to invoices
* Produce monthly and consolidated sales invoices
