Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant on a full-time basis on a fixed term contract for 9 months with a view to starting immediately with a retail organisation based in Warwick. Reporting into the AP Manager, you will be responsible for resolving and investigating queries in an accurate and timely manner ensuring that suppliers are paid correctly and on-time.

Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile supplier statements and ensuring that supplier payments are made in line with agreed terms.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution of outstanding queries and payments.
Balance weekly payment runs
Processing internal adjustments where necessary
Identify process improvements and efficiency savings.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounts payable administration and be available at short notice (max 1 week). You must have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with stakeholders at all levels to resolve discrepancies and queries.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday

Experience:
purchase ledger: 1 year (preferred)
Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
