Alexander Daniels Finance Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic and growing international organisation to recruit a hands-on Management Accountant in Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team, taking ownership of core accounting and transactional processes across multiple business units. The role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently while collaborating with global stakeholders.

You will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, transactional finance, and business partnering, helping ensure finance operations are accurate, efficient, and consistently delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts)
  • Own the month-end and year-end close process, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local statutory requirements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
  • Oversee end-to-end transactional processes
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
  • Act as the primary finance contact for assigned business units and collaborate with stakeholders across the UK and internationally
  • Provide reporting and insights to support operational decision-making
  • Review financial transactions to ensure correct allocation and treatment
  • Verify intercompany transactions
  • Support external audits and respond to audit queries
  • Assist with tax reporting and compliance requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements across finance operations
  • Drive efficiencies in reporting and workflows
  • Proactively resolve issues and maintain strong financial controls

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • AAT qualified or ACCA/ CIMA studier
  • Circa 5+ years’ in a similar finance role
  • Strong experience with and management accounts preparation
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in a complex or multi-entity environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • ERP system experience (Dynamics 365 desirable)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working with intercompany transactions and multi-currency environments

Desirable

  • Additional language skills (e.g. Polish)
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards or local GAAP variations
  • Experience working with outsourced or offshore finance teams
  • Experience improving financial processes or systems
