Management Accountant

AD Finance Recruitment is partnering with a fast‑growing, multi‑entity UK group to recruit a Management Accountant who wants real ownership, variety and progression.

If you enjoy taking charge of month‑end, improving processes and being the finance go‑to for operational teams, this role will suit you perfectly.

The Role

• Lead monthly management accounts for several trading entities.
• Produce accurate reporting packs with clear variance analysis.
• Prepare journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed assets, intercompany).
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Ensure consistent revenue recognition and accurate WIP reporting.
• Assist with statutory accounts, VAT and audit queries.
• Support integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Partner with managers to provide insight and commercial challenge.
• Contribute to systems and process improvements.

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist.
• Strong management accounting and month‑end experience.
• Comfortable working across multi‑entity or multi‑site structures.
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition and WIP.
• Detail‑driven, analytical and confident communicating with stakeholders.
• Experience in a growing SME or mid‑market environment.
