The Role

Reporting into the Tax Manager, you’ll be involved in:

• Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting tax returns
• Assisting with VAT and other indirect tax compliance
• Producing tax reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Supporting tax accounting and reporting requirements
• Working closely with finance colleagues to ensure accurate and timely submissions
• Assisting with audits and responding to information requests
• Supporting a variety of finance and tax-related projects, including process improvements and systems developments
• Helping drive efficiencies and continuous improvement across tax processes

About You

We’re keen to hear from individuals who have:

• Previous experience in tax, financial accounting, or a related finance role
• Knowledge of corporation tax and/or VAT compliance
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CTA or CIMA qualified
• Part-qualified and actively studying
• Qualified by experience with relevant tax and accounting exposure
